Location: Manchester - hybrid
Key focus of job:
An exciting opportunity to work closely with an experienced Director in the development of a team focused on the delivery of transactional and advisory services predominantly to the office sector but also, encompassing advice relating to development schemes and opportunities. The position will be based within LSH’s Manchester office and will cover the immediate market but also, tertiary opportunities to markets across the broader North West region.
Working with an established base comprising key national, regional and local clients, the successful candidate should be driven and self-starting, client facing, able to work both independently and with a larger team, be collaborative and have a desire to develop. For the correct candidate, who will be trustworthy, innovative and keen to achieve, this is an excellent opportunity to work with and learn from a recognised expert and be part of an expanding team, contributing to the growth of the LSH business and market share.
Main tasks:
The candidate will be required to:
- Generate core fee income from the management and delivery of existing instructions and work referred.
- Secure, manage and deliver new business and development new and existing client opportunities.
- Generate annual sales of new business through cross-selling opportunities to other divisions within LSH.
- Assist with the development and presentation of tenders and pitches for new business and mandates.
- Continually strive to improve working practices and client service delivery for the whole team.
- Undertake acquisition and disposal work of office sector assets.
- Market the service line and develop opportunities internally and externally.
- Represent LSH and the full range of property related services available to clients.
- Manage the use of National Property Intelligence for business generation and research based purposes.
- Manage prudently client accounts ensuring full compliance with the LSH business systems and internal and external QA.
- Prepare case studies highlighting business wins and successful deals.
- Undertake regular PR activities in the press through reporting of deals, business wins and/or “thought pieces”.
Main capabilities:
- The candidate will have a proven experience of the offices market, preferably but not essentially in the North West region.
- The candidate should be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of analysing client requirements, be able to collect, review and act upon client feedback and demonstrate awareness of market trends
- The candidate should be able to communicate effectively, be well presented and maintain a professional and confident image with clients.
- The candidate should demonstrate ambition and commitment to self development and promotion, be well organised, be able to manage their own time and exercise good commercial judgement to maximise fee earning potential. The candidate needs to be able to work alone and also, as part of a team.
