- Loan security; Providing independent, RICS Red Book compliant loan security valuations, delivering clear market and rental assessments for both individual assets and large portfolios.
- Alternatives; our alternative valuers carry out valuations for loan security, financial reporting, disposal, acquisition, compensation, property litigation and taxation purposes.
- Asset Valuation; providing clients with an accurate report on the value of their property assets / portfolios.
- Diminution in value; providing accurate, independent advice on valuation in dilapidation disputes and in situations such as claims of negligence in conveyancing.
- Fund valuation; assisting asset management companies and investment trusts with the detailed information they require about their property holdings.
- Public Sector Valuation
- Expert Witness Services; providing clients advice in matrimonial, probate, commercial disputes or professional negligence claims regarding a range of property assets.
- Distressed Asset Valuation; we offer specialist strategic advice and practical solutions to lenders with distressed assets.
This opportunity:
Lambert Smith Hampton is expanding and investing in its Residential Valuation team in London, making this an excellent time to become part of a growing and strategically important division. The successful candidate will ideally be at Surveyor or Senior Surveyor level, although we are happy to consider candidates with more experience.
The team provides extensive valuation and advisory services encompassing single‑unit assets, large‑scale development schemes, and diversified residential portfolios.
Their remit includes RICS Red Book valuations, market appraisals, strategic consultancy, and detailed assessments across the full spectrum of residential property types, from single and multi-family dwellings, to development land and income‑generating investment assets.
Operating throughout London and the South East of England, the team applies rigorous analytical standards and deep sector expertise to support informed, evidence‑based decision‑making at every stage of the property lifecycle.
Recent projects include:
- Valuation of a 550-unit scheme in Berkshire for secured lending purposes.
- Valuation of a £30 million single dwelling in Little Venice for secured lending purposes.
- Strategic consultancy advice for a 220-unit development scheme in East Sussex.
- Valuation of a mixed-use portfolio of 150 assets across the south-east of England.
- Valuation of a major PRS development in prime central London.
- Valuation of a large residential asset within the Wentworth Estate.
- Development consultancy advice for a potential 250-unit scheme in the Brighton “New England Quarter”
This opportunity exists for:
- Newly Qualified Surveyors with foundational valuation experience.
- Chartered Surveyors and/or Registered Valuers with established valuation expertise.
- Senior Surveyors with a background in residential valuation work.
