The London Capital Markets team has an established and extensive client base for its investment work, including developers, property companies, institutional and private clients. By using our broad contact base, we are well positioned to source investment product, often off market. We operate across all of London and are now seeking a highly capable individual to join our team.

About the Role:

Lambert Smith Hampton have an immediate opportunity for an Associate Director or Director to join our expanding London Offices Capital Markets team.

This opportunity is for a motivated, RICS-qualified investment professional with extensive post-qualification experience and a strong track record in London investment agency. You’ll be working alongside a collaborative and entrepreneurial team with a focus on market growth in a rapidly evolving market.

This opportunity exists for:

  • A Senior Surveyor with Capital Markets experience, looking to progress to an Associate Director position
  • An Associate Director seeking to advance their career within a progressive and well-connected team
  • An experienced Associate Director ready to move into a Director-level position with greater autonomy and influence

Key Responsibilities

  • Sourcing new instructions and advising on prospective and existing sale instructions across London
  • Identifying client requirements and sourcing/acquiring suitable investment properties
  • Undertake detailed financial analysis, including market demand, yields, and rental performance
  • Leading and assisting with presentations and pitches to win new business
  • Developing and maintaining strong investment agency contacts.
  • Expanding and strengthening client base across multiple disciplines
  • Cross-selling services across the wider LSH business
  • Actively support the growth of the team’s client base and promote collaboration across LSH’s multi-disciplinary platform

Essential Requirements

  • MRICS qualified
  • Advanced ability on Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient ability on Forbury, Argus Investor & Developer software
  • A sound understanding of valuation methods and techniques
  • Experience in cash-flow modelling and IRR analysis
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight timelines
  • Ability to work as part of a team and in a busy office environment.
  • Ability to develop productive working relationships with colleagues and target clients.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
